Well I've been playing basketball for 3.5 years, I started out in Sydney playing in the Hornsby and Kuringai Basketball association, where I played for a team called "The Pacers", we really sucked. So I played there for 1 year then we moved up to the Newcastle region. I played for a team called the Taipans for a season. One thing that shoked me when I first started to play again was the fact that Maitland Competition was a mixed comp, but it all changed half way through 2003. The Taipans were quite a good team, we got into the Semi Finals at one stage and we won a few and lost a few. I then moved up to the Open competition and played for a whole new team, my school's team. To be honest, I think the only game we won was one where the other team forfeited. We had some good players, but we didn't click as a team. There would always be breakdown in communication as there were people in year 9, 10, and 11. Anyway I am currently playing for my school team, which has significantly changed and we are going quite well, we're winning some and losing some. We have people from mainly year 10 but also 1 person from year 9, we're all friends so the communication is quite good.
